THE ROSIA NECKLACE
The Rosia necklace is a testament to the timeless allure of minimalism, conceived amidst the serene surroundings of Killen Falls in Byron Bay. Inspired by the sheer simplicity of nature's beauty, this piece encapsulates the essence of tranquillity and elegance.
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the Rosia necklace embodies understated sophistication. Its design, fashioned from luminous 14k gold-filled material, exudes both enduring beauty and remarkable durability. Just as the falls symbolise the unadorned splendour of life, this necklace speaks volumes with its subtle yet profound aesthetic.
Sustainability
At Isabella Grace, sustainability is our cornerstone. Having experienced firsthand the staggering amount of waste generated in retail, I was driven to make a change. In many retail establishments, each clothing item was unnecessarily wrapped in multiple layers of plastic, only to be disposed of in yet more plastic bags, all behind the scenes, away from the customers' view.
This discrepancy between the outward image of sustainability and the actual practices ignited a passion within me to do better. From the initial sketches to the final product, every step of our process prioritises sustainability. Our sketching process begins on recycled note paper sourced from a local small business. Additionally, all our jewellery findings are delivered in paper bags, a result of our dedicated collaboration with a supplier over two years.
Furthermore, each order is carefully packaged in biodegradable cardboard boxes and pouches. We firmly believe that while individual actions may seem small, the collective impact of thousands of these small changes can lead to meaningful transformation. At Isabella Grace, we are committed to making that change happen, one sustainable decision at a time.
Care
Pearls
Freshwater pearls retain their lustrous shine with proper care. Gently wipe them with a soft cloth before storing to maintain their brilliance. To prevent scratches, store them separately from other jewelry pieces in a soft cloth pouch. Wearing pearls regularly helps prevent them from drying out; they benefit from the natural oils of your skin. However, it's advisable to avoid excessive sweating. Pearls are naturally formed in pristine waters so they are okay to be worn in natural waters.
Gold Filled- Using a soft cloth: Gold filled pieces can be cleaned with a soft cloth easily. A soft cloth won’t scratch or be rough on the surface. Make sure to never leave chemical residues on your gold-filled pieces. Always wash them and polish again with a soft cloth to remove any excess of cleaning products.
Mild soapy water and a toothbrush: Using a mild soap and a child’s soft brush can be a good combination for perfectly doing the cleaning job for the gold pieces. The mild soap can remove dirt residue from the pieces using the toothbrush. Make sure the toothbrush is very soft, or it might scratch the pieces. (Not suitable for pearl and gem jewellery.) Avoid having your pieces come into contact with chlorine, perfumes or fake tan.
